On this page you can follow the
restoration-progress of the body.
Whenever the roof is repaired there are many other parts of the body to be repaired;
There are holes in the body for water-filling and elecrical connection. These have to be repaired.
At the backside, there is a part missing in the neighbourhood of the spare-tyre.
Some other parts of the body are totally destroyed or removed.
The door at the passengers-side has to be repaired. In the past it was a sliding-door. The restoration of this parts will be placed on a separate page.

Photo1: The backside of the bus. I closed it temporarely with a few aluminium plates. But, original, there was a window. On one of the old pictures of this bus I could see how the window was fitted.
Photo 2:
The temporarely plates have been removed and the frame of the body is restored (april 7 2003). It is not necassary to renew the upper plate.
Photo 3:
The new plates are inserted and welded onto the remaining part of the body. The corners for the window at the left side were destroyed, so I have to make it new.
Photo 4: april 18th 2003; The backside is finished. Now I am waiting for the new window. This has to be made in the factory. Also the flap for the spare tyre is fitted (the orange part). I don't know how this was originally. If anyone knows how it has to be, please let me know.
Photo 5: A connection for 230 Volt. I remove this and tighten the hole.

Photo 7: Also the frame behind the back wheels is restored.
Photo 8: At the other side also 2 holes, ventilation and electricity. Also these holes will be removed
