I can hardley imagine that our Bedford looked like this bus, but it is so.
It's history ( as far as known until now).
In 1967 this bus is bought by the RAF (Royal Air Force). Its original license-number in the UK was 38AC83. The bus is used in Germany (left hand drive) , probably for transportation of kids from the English pilots to school or transportation of the pilots themselves.
In 1973 it is sold and got its Dutch license.
Since 1987 the bus didn't drive anymore. It was parked in a barn and one of the former owners started to convert the bus into a camper:
The bus got a camper-roof (WHICH WILL BE REMOVED AGAIN!). Also some parts of the body are removed.
After this owner died, the kids of this man kept the bus as a remining of their dad.
Early 2002 the bus is sold for the good engine and scrap the rest of the bus. But, this owner thought the bus would be too good to scrap.
In jun 2002 We bought the bus from this man and we will use the bus again as a camper, but with his original body.
